Privacy Policy

In short: the Claimball app collects no personal information and contains no analytics. This website collects basic visit statistics through Google Analytics, remembers your language in your own browser, and asks for no name, email or account. There are no ads and we do not sell data.

1. Information we collect

The Claimball app ("the App") is a mobile game operated by an individual developer, Davy Kim (ipe Studio). The App has no accounts or sign-in, and it does not collect or send to any server any personal information such as your name, email, contact details, location or device identifiers. Your game progress and settings are stored on your device and are deleted from it when you delete the App.

The App contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. This applies to the App only; the website is described in section 2.

iCloud sync (iOS). So that you can keep playing on another device signed in with the same Apple account, the iOS App saves your progress to your own iCloud (iCloud key-value storage) and syncs it between your devices. This covers the rivals you have beaten, stars, achievements, whether you have used the free taste, and two accessibility settings. Apple keeps this data in your iCloud account. It is not sent to ipe() or to any server we run, and we cannot see it. Purchase status is not synced, because the App Store is the source of truth for purchases. If you turn iCloud off for the App (or for your device), your progress is kept on that device only. The Android version currently stores everything on the device only.

2. The website

Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 on claimball.ipe.rest to see which pages are read. It records page views, the page you came from, your browser and device type, an approximate location (country or city) and clicks on links that leave our site (the link address only). It sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga, which can last up to two years) to tell visits apart. We do not ask for your name or email in analytics, and we cannot identify you from it. Google processes this data on our behalf, which can include servers outside Korea. We use it only to understand what is read and to improve the site; we do not use it for profiling and we do not sell it.

Your choices

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.

Other

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so ordinary web request information (such as your IP address) may be sent to Google. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub's server-log policies apply. If you pick a language, your browser may keep that choice on your own device only; it is never sent to us.

3. Third parties

The App collects no personal information. For the website, Google (analytics and fonts) and GitHub (hosting) process data as described above; we do not sell your information and do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires. The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play; information related to downloads is handled by each store under its own privacy policy.

4. Questions and your rights

To request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information, or to ask any question, write to ipe.haven@gmail.com. Analytics data is not tied to your name or email, so we usually cannot find an individual in it; email correspondence we can locate and delete.

5. Children

The App is not directed to children under 14 (or the minimum age in your region), and the App collects no personal information from any user.
